Baby’s Coffee
About This Spot
Nestled just off the well-traveled stretch of US-1 in Key West, Baby’s Coffee unfolds like a quietly cherished neighborhood haven. It’s a place where the pace eases into something unhurried, inviting locals and wanderers alike to linger over a carefully brewed cup and the comforting rustle of casual conversations. The ambiance carries a laid-back charm, punctuated by thoughtful, quirky art and an open invitation to settle in—whether you’re starting your day, pausing mid-adventure, or seeking a little afternoon restoration.
Stepping inside, you feel a gentle hum of familiarity—the kind that welcomes both daily regulars and first-time visitors with the warmth of a place that knows its community. Aromas of freshly roasted coffee mingle with the subtle sweetness of baked treats, from buttery croissants filled with unexpected twists to Key Lime–inspired delights that hint at local flavors. It’s a spot where breakfasts are something to savor rather than rush, where the steam rising from a cappuccino feels like a quiet morning ritual, and where iced lattes and mango smoothies offer a refreshing island reprieve.
Beyond the drinks and food, Baby’s Coffee resonates in the small, thoughtful gestures: a kid’s cookie freely given, friendly nods from staff who often seem more like neighbors, and the gentle buzz of families making moments near the adjacent park. These human touches anchor the experience, creating a space that’s equally inviting to those seeking a peaceful refuge or a casual meeting point on the Keys.
Whether you’re sliding off your bike for a cool cold brew on a sun-baked afternoon or stepping indoors to warm up with a latte on a crisp morning, Baby’s Coffee holds a quiet rhythm that blends spirited local flavor with genuine ease. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a small but sincere chapter in your Key West story.

Relaxed coffee bar with some quirky art. Coffee rich and flavorful. Staff generally quite friendly. Wish we had gotten the chance to try the food truck outside. I think definitely worth it

Baby’s Coffee is an absolute gem. The food was delicious and very well priced — a rare combination in the Keys! The staff went above and beyond, and the free cookies for the kids were such a thoughtful touch. The shakes were incredible, too — definitely some of the best we’ve had. Another huge plus: there’s a public park right behind the restaurant, which gave the kids a perfect place to run around and play while we relaxed. Highly recommend Baby’s Coffee for families or anyone looking for great food, great prices, and a welcoming atmosphere!

My family and I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. We stayed in Cudjoe Key for a week and stopped in every day we could. They were even open on Christmas morning, with the owner there himself. The coffee and matcha were some of the best we’ve ever had, but the customer service was even better. The owner was almost always there, chatting with customers. Joe - your kindness won’t be lost upon us! Thanks again. If you’re staying in the Keys, make this your daily go-to—you won’t be disappointed.

Good coffee! Great service and a cute shop with lots of options. Easy off and on the main road. Lots of parking. Great for a pick me up on the way up or down the keys.

5 stars for the coffee, breakfast pastries, and Christmas ornaments. My husband came to the Florida Keys on our honeymoon- Baby’s Coffee was perfection, however the cashier was cold and rude. I thanked her and told her we came from very far away and she ignored me, coldly, and told me to “go fill up your cup there” and the coffee was sadly luke-warm temperature. Weird! …so we sat in the artsy, lounge area and enjoyed the perfect pastries. Yum

Very cute set up inside. Very busy. We had only coffee. It was so nice the coffee station had free cookies. That was really nice. Our hotel didn't have anything free. One tiny cup , no complementary breakfast. It looked like the complementary free water cup. Anyway I loved everything about it. The girls were nice. Mahalo and Aloha (Thank you). Yessah Let's go!

Great stop for morning coffee. Many roast to choose and you can get coffee by pound in either bean or grind to your liking. Great breakfast pastry and fare to choose from. Fair prices

Baby’s Coffee - Key West What a hidden gem for coffee lovers visiting the Keys! The place has a cool, laid-back vibe with quirky signs, friendly service, and great coffee. Their iced drinks are super refreshing, perfect for the Florida heat. The coffee is rich, smooth, and freshly brewed—you can tell they take pride in roasting their own beans. They also have a fun merch section with mugs and souvenirs if you want to take a piece of Baby’s Coffee home. The pastries and sandwiches looked great too, making it a perfect pit stop whether you’re heading into Key West or out. Highly recommend grabbing a coffee here—you won’t regret it!
